On June 27, the Children’s League, along with other members of the CHINS coalition met outside of the State House to rally for CHINS Reform. The Coalition came together to ask that the House Ways and Means Committee, led by Speaker Robert DeLeo, release the Senate bill for a vote, urging that the House vote ‘YES’ on the existing version passed by the Senate last year.
With more than 200 participants, a fantastic series of speakers, and great media coverage, the rally was considered by all to be a success. Armed with fact sheets, many of the ralliers entered the State House to speak with their repesentatives – telling them,
