Director of Admissions
The Brandon School and Residential Treatment Center is seeking a Director of Admissions for our 80 bed residential treatment program and 25+ day student population.  Brandon serves boys 7 – 18 years old with complex behavioral and emotional challenges.  This is an elevated position within our agency that requires excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, writing, task completion, and problem solving skills.  The Director of Admissions is responsible for the daily oversight and coordination of all referrals and admissions, as well as information dissemination and marketing of our various programs.  The position also includes screening of youth being placed in our emergency services programs, interviewing youth for long term care placement, providing tours to youth, families and collaterals, and serving as point of contact on all admissions specific matters.
Experience working in special education and/or residential settings, working with school systems, DCF, and DMH, experience providing care to youth and families, and leadership experience working with interdisciplinary teams is preferred, as well as an understanding and true passion for trauma informed care.
Bachelor’s degree in related field required; master’s degree preferred in social work, mental health counseling, or education.
