On February 10, 2026, over 100 attendees from legislative offices, the Department of Children and Families, and provider organizations came together at the Massachusetts State House for a Family Preservation Coalition-led briefing on Support and Stabilization Services.
Featured speakers included program participants sharing their personal experiences, program leadership, and Legislative Champions Senator Robyn Kennedy and Representative Jay Livingstone. Attendees heard first-hand how these time-limited, intensive, in-home, and community-based services promote stability for youth and families and prevent more costly interventions.
The briefing highlighted the critical need for sustained investment in Support and Stabilization Services through state budget line item 4800-0040 to ensure youth and families across the Commonwealth continue to have access to these vital supports.
