Today CLM sent the following letter to the Massachusetts Congressional Delegation highlighting concerns about risks to the Commonwealth’s children from recent action by the federal government.
CLM’s unwavering commitment is to the safety and wellbeing of the Commonwealth’s children. To keep children protected and provide families with effective pathways to stability, we need government to increase the investments that sustain vulnerable families and drive programmatic innovation at the local and state level and not let them be sacrificed to political maneuvering. We call on our Congressional delegation in the strongest possible terms to fight for the safety, dignity and well-being of children in the Commonwealth and across the nation.
