CLM Releases Report on High Acuity Youth in Congregate Care
The reduction in the number and types of care setting spaces and more selective removal of children has resulted in a higher concentration of "high acuity" adolescents residing in congregate care.
The Children’s League of Massachusetts is a statewide non-profit association of private and public organizations and individuals that collectively advocate for public policies and quality services that are in the best interest of the Commonwealth’s children, youth, and families. The Children’s League membership consists of organizations, agencies, and individuals from around Massachusetts working together as a unified front for public policy advocacy. Our membership reaches all corners of the state, working together to improve the well-being of children and their families.
CLM works together with our members and coalition partners to advocate for the best possible services for children and families in the Commonwealth. CLM works with state legislators to create change in the General Laws and we work with the state administration to implement change in regulations and the delivery of services to protect children and provide resources for families in need.
