The Executive Office of Health and Human Services has updated the Siting Policy for group homes issued on January 2, 2017.
The requirement for pre-emptive EOHHS approval of proposed locations for agencies’ homes is hereby rescinded. All other aspects of the policy, and the requirement to report information about group homes to DHCD biennially, remain in effect.
