Following productive meetings with then-candidates Maura Healey and Kim Driscoll about CLM's priorities and issues, CLM developed and sent this memo to the transition team, outlining specific recommendations for the incoming Administration, focused on three themes:
- Leading with child and family well-being, and listening to family and youth voices.
- Taking a systems-level, coordinated, and data-driven approach to delivering child and family services and combatting systemic racism.
- Respecting the state’s partnership with community-based providers who deliver this work on behalf of the Commonwealth.
CLM's staff and board are continuing outreach to the transition team subcommittees about specific issues and priorities.
