Thank you to our CLM Members who attended the Migrant Workforce Info Sessions hosted by the Collaborative.
On March 8th and March 12th, the Collaborative hosted two info sessions presented by Ken Brown, Assistant Secretary for Employer Engagement at the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD) on new migrant arrival workforce readiness and job placement planning.
Members learned about the profile of Massachusetts' new migrants, the training newcomers are receiving to prepare for work readiness, and an understanding of the matching/hiring process.
